VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum - the main annual event in the gas industry

In the period of October 2-5, 2018 the “EXPOFORUM” Convention and Exhibition Center (St. Petersburg) hosted the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, the main annual event in the gas industry. CJSC “Pipeline Systems and Technologies” traditionally took part in the International specialized exhibition “InGAS Stream 2018 – INNOVATIONS IN THE GAS INDUSTRY” held within the framework of the Forum.
The company’s exposition demonstrated equipment for corrosion protection and corrosion monitoring of steel pipelines, structures, underwater and harbour structures:
- insulating monolithic joints,
- corrosion monitoring systems,
- compact cathodic protection stations,
- test stations and resistance control units,
- inducted current protection devices,
- reference electrodes,
- anode earthing devices,
- marker plates,
- spark gap monitor modules.

In addition, CJSC “Pipeline Systems and Technologies” presented a new kind of products – the ELECTRONIC RESISTANCE CONTROL UNIT (ERCU) used in the electrochemical anti-corrosion protection system of metal structures – to the Forum participants and exhibition visitors.
Not only industry specialists, but also youth expressed vivid interest towards the exposition and manufactured equipment. Within the framework of the “Youth Day” of the Forum the exposition of CJSC “Pipeline Systems and Technologies” was included in the route of official attendance by the Forum delegates of certain exhibitors’ displays.
The Youth Day is a unique informational intellectual and polemic ground directed at joining representatives of the sectoral business elite and youth of the world’s leading universities and institutes for discussing new vectors of development of the gas industry and career opportunities for young leaders.
